Carnotaurus

 The Carnotaurus was discovered 1984 at Argentina. The Carnotaurus is actually my favorite dinosaur. The Carnotaurus lived 72 million years ago in the Cretaceous Period. It's horns lots of people think were for fighting it's prey. But that's not the case at all! They were actually used to identify who was who. Did you know that only one skeleton of this dinosaur has ever been found. But it was so well preserved that it was enough to understand the dinosaur. Carnotaurus means "meat eating bull", because it had horns on it's head like a bull, and it was a carnivore. There is only one species of Carnotaurus, Carnotaurus Sastrei. It's arms were smaller than the Tyrannosaurus rex's. It also had small pieces of armor running down it's back.
