Utahraptor

Being the largest raptor to roam the earth, the Utahraptor was discovered 1991 in the USA, Utah. It lived about 125 million years ago in the Cretaceous Period. It has only a single species, Utahraptor Ostrommaysorum. It along with the previously posted Velociraptor, is part of the group known as Dromaeosauridae. The Utahraptor like the smaller Velociraptor, did have feathers. It was almost actually named after Steven Speilburg, the director to Jurassic Park. This dinosaur sadly does not get as much respect as it deserves.
