Stegosaurus

The popular Stegosaurus was discovered in 1876 in Colorado, USA. It's name means "Roof Lizard" cause "Stego" means roof in greek, and "Saurus" means lizard. It lived in the Jurassic period 155 million to 150 million years ago in modern day Western USA and Portugal. This dinosaur is an herbivore, or, " Plant Eater". There are only three species that are recognized to all scientists.  Stegosaurus Stenops, Stegosaurus Ungulatus, and Stegosaurus Sulcatus. Over 80 specimens of this dinosaur have been found. Its main enemies are Allosaurus and Ceratosaurus. It's friends would include Apatosaurus, Diplodocus, and Brachiosaurus.
